Our Nurse Prescribers can treat minor ailments & chronic diseases and they work closely with GPs in assessing & triaging patient's needs, appointments with the Nurse Prescriber (Nicola Matthews) in our minor illness clinic are also available on the day from 8am. The staff are always pleasant, helpful and polite.

Our aim at Highview Medical Centre is to provide a high standard of care in all areas of family medicine and to provide time in consultations for patients to talk and discuss any aspects of their treatment or care in an attractive environment.
Highview Medical Centre is located at The Elms on the High Street in Potters Bar, our purpose built modern building is equipped with a lift giving wheelchair access throughout the premises and has a loop for the hearing impaired.
We have a large team of 7 doctors, 3 nurses and our Nurse Prescriber who runs a minor illness clinic every day.

We offer a flexible booking system.
Patients can book appointments up to 2 weeks in advance, from 8pm the night before (using our online booking system) and from 8am on the day.
Via Our Online Services (Patients wishing to use this service must request a user details from the surgery).
Appointments for the practice nurses, blood tests or other healthcare professional cannot be made using the online services.
We try to provide an appointment for each patient with the doctor of their choice but where this is not possible we will offer you an appointment with an alternative doctor working that day.

If you choose to do so please let the pharmacy know that you have requested a repeat prescription and when you expect it to be ready to collect.
